Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. Her birth date was the 9th of February, 1997. Her grandmother lived in the streets until she reached three years old, when she was adopted. Her adopted father, a Philippine-American from a military background, was white, and American. She claims that she and her adopted brother she had were abused by the adoptive parents since her childhood until she joined the military. For the purpose of moving to Texas after she reached thirteen, her family resided for many months in San Francisco to stay with her aunt. She claims that the physical assault subsided but she was still dealing with her father's psychological abuse in her home. Within 18 years she joined an organization called the United States Navy. Poarch started her TikTok account in April of 202020 and rose quickly to the top of the charts, garnering more than 40,000,000 fans in under eight months. Poarch posted a range of videos, but her one that went on to become most popular was her rendition of Millie B's viral smash Soph Aspin Send. The singer lip-synched and danced to the tune in a zoomed-out video. Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter accounts within the month after her signing up to TikTok to take advantage of her rising fame. The adulation of Poarch's growing fame reached its peak during the month of December. Her burgeoning fame was reported to have drawn two of the most prestigious professionally-run Esports Teams. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves both showed interest in hiring the creator of the content for their own brands.
