Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 1977. She was as a character in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. She is a current analyst and team leader for GI-TOC multilateral engagement. Within her position at GI TOC, she focuses on the assassination of people - which includes disappearances and other violence of all kinds in the contexts of illegal economies. Her interests in research also include the impact of organised criminality on human rights, as well as the impact of the laws and policies. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum the laude award in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies at Geneva. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her with an LL.M. cum laude with a focus on Public Law. Ana Paula is a graduate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with an MAGNACUM LOVE degree in Legal Science as well as Social Sciences. After four years of working period at an international law firm, she has licensed as a lawyer. Her previous experience also includes working for non-governmental organizations that have their headquarters at Rio de Janeiro.
