Canadian screen actress who became known for her role as Bo Dennis on Lost Girl. Her first appearance was on CBS' Blood & Treasure, from 2019 onwards. In addition, she has appeared on Earthstorm (2006) and The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk was born Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, the daughter to Peter Silk who is an academic. Silk's wife Ilkay is a performer also a director and producer as well as playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas earliest memories of childhood include watching her mother at work in play rehearsals. Silk created a number of commercials while she was a small kid. She was in 1997 when she graduated with an associate's degree at St. Thomas University. In her early theater career, she was involved in 2 Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. They have two sons named Samuel as well as Levi. In 2009 she landed the principal role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Her performance as Bo as well as Lauren as lovers of the same gender in Lost Girl was named one of the series's all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN and named the Top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Because of the show's success, Silk gained a large internet following via social media.
