Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English artist and singer. She is known for her unique music style, that mixes soul with pop, hip-hop, and electropop, Jessie garnered much fame even at the age of. The awards she has won include the 2011 Critics' Choice Brit Award as well as BBC's Sound of 2011 as well as numerous nominations. She began her career when she was just eleven when she was part of the musical "Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. In 2002, she was featured on"The Late Sleepers," which was the "National Youth Music Theatre" show "The The Late Sleepers." The year 2011, when she was famous with the release of her debut album 'Who You Are'. The album was an overwhelming achievement, selling ten thousand copies in the UK and 344,000 in the US in just the first few days of debut. It was also the top two on the 'UK Albums Chart', and in the top 11 spot on the American Billboard 200.' Jessie is also recognized for her charity work as well as her involvement with charities such as Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief.'
